TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  • Driving license in effect.
  • Guaranteeing instrument: Credit card with available credit or special Budget customer card and/or form or responsive statement. No cash.
  • Drivers over 21 years old, up to 70 years old.
  • Two hours tolerance to drop-of the vehicle.
  • Trespassing the Southern Border of Mexico is prohibited.
  • If you must cross the Northern border of Mexico, please check first with the Reservations
  • Department at 01 800 700 1700 or 55 66 68 00 in Mexico City.
  • If you need to drop-off the car off working hours, please ask your counter dealer.
  • VAT: A 15% Tax will be charged. In Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Ciudad Juarez, Cozumel, La Paz, Loreto, Matamoros, Mexicali, Nuevo Laredo, Playa del Carmen, Tijuana and San Jose del Cabo a 10% tax shall apply.

  • Additional Charges :

  • The vehicle must be dropped-off with a full gas tank.
  • The vehicle must be dropped-off with a full gas tank. Otherwise, an additional charge will be made based on the cost per liter calculated at the counter.
  • The vehicle must be dropped-off in the same city where it is received. No charges between offices in the same state apply, except for Cancun: $15 dollars plus VAT.
  • If the vehicle is dropped-off in a different state, a drop-off charge will be applied. Please indicate the drop-off city to calculate the cost.
  • 0% deductible (partial robbery is not included)
  • Two hours tolerance to drop off the vehicle.
  • If you exceed the two hours tolerance, the next two hours will be charged at an extra hour rate plus insurance, if you exceed said tolerance over four hours you will be charged one additional rental day.
  • If the vehicle is picked up in any of our offices at any of the airports of Mexico a 12% charge will apply on base fee and insurances. If you require chauffeur service, please ask for available cities calling to the Reservations Department (01 800 700 1700 o 55 66 68 00 in Mexico City).

Additional Driver:

  • Driving license in effect.
  • Same age requirements.
  • No additional charge.

Insurance

  • Basic insurance includes collision, car theft and damage to third parties as well as 10% deductible in all vehicles.
  • The cost is $200.00 pesos + VAT per day.
  • “O” deductible insurance available, which offers you 100% protection in case of total loss.
  • The cost of the "0" deductible is $100.00 pesos + VAT per day.
  • In case of accident, it is necessary to call the insurance company to make effective the insurance benefits mentioned hereinbefore.
  • No insurance protects against partial damage.
